Turkey Burgers with Brussels Sprouts

Quick, easy, light and surprisingly tasty.

Ingredients:

2 Jennie O turkey burger patties
1/2 green pepper, coarse sliced
1/2 white onion, coarse sliced
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cups frozen Brussels sprouts
Kraft Tuscan Italian salad dressing
3 tsp. butter or oil
Zataran's seasoning
salt and pepper

In 3 separate stages, basically fry up your Zataran-seasoned sprouts in 1 tsp. butter and some dressing, fry up your onion, pepper and mushroom mix in another tsp. of butter; season with Zatarans, and lastly, fry up your patties in the remaining fat after sprinkling with salt and pepper. Sounds like a lot of "frying" and we've learned to feel bad about that verb, but it gets things nicely caramelized for full, robust flavors and we use small amounts of fat here...so don't sweat it! Total calories: About 600. And this is a FULL plate of food, guys!
